Arizona, Kentucky, Rhode Island, and Nebraska
CEEP also worked with nine other states where our prime role was distributing materials through existing networks; in several of these states we also coached and supported interns. We worked with local Compacts, statewide student associations, and the independent Campus to Community Coalition of Texas. We also worked directly with schools, like when our North Dakota intern engaged one of the tribal colleges and the staffer there reached out to the others. Or when our Missouri staffer approached a succession of people at the St. Louis Community College and University of Missouri systems until they connected her with key administrators and student leaders at the rest of the state’s major public colleges and universities. We also created and distributed nonpartisan guides to the US Senate races for Missouri, North Dakota, Arizona, Nebraska, Massachusetts, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Montana, Virginia and Florida. While our more peripheral efforts lacked the extensive follow-ups that created the maximum impact elsewhere, we believe they still made a significant difference.
